The International Parking Community (IPC) is a DVLA Accredited Trade Association representing parking operators from both the public and private sectors. Established to enhance the standards and professionalism within the parking industry, the IPC provides a range of services including training through its Training & Development Academy, and operates the Independent Appeals Service (IAS), which offers motorists a fair adjudication process for parking charge disputes. IPC members adhere to the sector Single Code of Practice to ensure high standards and the continued raising of the bar for the sector. The IPC also run accreditation schemes that ensure high standards, one example of this is the AAPP scheme. The IPC works tirelessly to raise standards and ensure compliance.
The IPC is dedicated to promoting fairness, transparency, and high standards in parking management, ensuring that both operators and motorists benefit from a well-regulated and professional industry.
The AAPP scheme is designed to protect consumers, enhance service quality, and uphold the integrity of the sector.
The IPC offers accreditation schemes that recognise excellence and ensure high standards of service within the parking industry. We provide education and training courses on essential topics such as customer service and compliance in parking signage and management. We engage with government and consumer groups to provide balanced advice and to support legislative changes to create a supportive environment for growth and innovation in the private parking sector.
